To celebrate his new track “Falling” on Future House Music, Brooks delivers a masterful journey with music from the likes of NERVO, RSCL, Repiet, Moksi & Eleganto, alongside Brooks' own originals such as "Monster," "If Only I Could," and his collaboration mashup with Martin Garrix, "Quantum Clarity." Hey Brooks, thanks for joining us today to celebrate your new track "Falling." Let us dive into it! Can you share the story behind "Falling"? What inspired the track, and how does it fit into your evolving sound?
Thanks for having me, super excited for the release! The first couple of versions of the track started quite some time ago. I noticed I had been using the same intro for a while and wanted to create something new for my last NYE show! Tried a couple of different versions, but over time ended up with what is now “Falling,” which in my opinion is a great example of the typical Brooks sound design, but still fresh.

"Falling" marks your third release on Future House Music this year—how has this partnership influenced your creative direction?
It was great! Like we talked about a little around the other two releases; releasing on FHM always feels like coming back home in a way. It is really inspiring to see how much we’ve grown together and how much we’ve accomplished, and it’s almost kind of crazy to look back on everything. Doing events together with genuine friends and meeting up around the world always inspires me so much I always head straight to the studio the moment I get the chance.

What does it mean to you to have support from the Future House Music team, and what do you like about collaborating with them?
Feels great! Just lucky to have people in the industry I have known for so long and worked with on so many different projects. They are always ready for you for whatever you need and really stand out in the industry with how much they genuinely feel connected to their label and music.

You were incredibly active during ADE, including at the FHM 10 Year Anniversary and your own B2Brooks event. What were some standout moments for you?
Yes, still recovering haha! ADE has always been amazing, but this year was the best one yet for me personally. It was incredible to do my own show for the first time that was completely sold out. I'm really proud of my team for pulling that off, and being part of the 10 year anniversary was definitely one of those moments that makes you stop for a second and actually realize how crazy the last 10 years have been. Super proud to be a part of all of it and had so much fun at the event!

You have hinted at a lot of new IDs coming up. Is there one that you’re excited to share soon, and can you give us a hint of what to expect from your new material?
Yes! I played about 6 new IDs last ADE, and I'm pretty sure that isn’t even half of the new ID folder! Obviously, we have the new release on FHM, soon after we’ll release a brand new remix, and I'm already scheduling a couple of releases for the first months of the new year, so lots and lots of new stuff coming!

Talk to us about your approach to your Spotlight Mix. How might it compare to a current live set we would hear from you?
Honestly with a live set I just bring my USBs with thousands of tracks and hope for the best haha, I never really plan it out and just see what the set is going to sound like when I get there. With a mix like this I can really take that extra time to find new tracks I like or ask other artists if they have something cool laying around that might be a good fit. Especially in combination with FHM it feels extra good to throw in a couple of throwback tracks!

The first one must be “If only I could”! Like I said it feels great to put that track in a FHM mix again, especially since that is one of the tracks that started our crazy journey together. Second one must be the Arcando and Vluarr collab! Both great guys and amazing producers, and this one went absolutely nuts at the B2Brooks event! The third one must be Repiet! We have been in touch for a while now and from the moment I heard his sound I needed to check the rest of his music! Some time passed and now we are working on multiple collabs, so I had to include some of his stuff!

As we look ahead, what is next for you? Do you have any upcoming projects or goals you are excited to chase down in the coming months?
I think for now what is most important to me is just living in the moment again and enjoying everything that is going on again! Feels so good to release music again and see everyone on the road with new shows. For now, I am just enjoying being “back” again, so I'm mainly focusing on finishing all of my music and looking forward to the new releases!
